I'm doing NaNoWriMo again, as I do - well, every year. :P this year it is teenage superheroes and the dawn of the superhero age! I want to get to know my characters a bit better, so I'd like to do a meme thing with you guys if I can?

Okay, tell me how Mr. Brown and Hana Saab met and got started on this business.

"Mr. Brown," Hana says, and shakes his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"I understand you'll be commanding Task Force 1?" he asks, and she nods.

"Yes, sir," she says.

"Where are you transferring from?"

"Marine Corps," she says. "I was stationed in Afghanistan the last two years. Germany before that."

"You must have made quite a name for yourself to get assigned to this task force," he says, and she barely keeps down the flinch.

"I got lucky," she says. "Quite a few times."

"You understand what our mission is here?"

"Hunting down and neutralizing dangerous or unstable posthumans," she says.

"Best of luck," he says, and turns away.

And oh God, I so want to do NaNo this year, but that is NOT going to happen, what with apps and school and I don't have a plot bunny yet, and so I don't know. How did you manage it last year?

YOU CAN DO IT if I did it! of course I, uh, procrastinated on college applications a lot and had gotten to the point where the word count took me about thirty minutes a day if I had any plot ideas at all.

I WILL WRITE YOU THIS AS PART OF THE STORY. And post it when I have.

Well, I already turned in my early apps, but I still have a lot to do for college AND in addition to college, so I DON'T KNOW. But mayhaps I will at least come up with awesome ideas. I love world/character-building so much. :)

I AM EXACTLY THE SAME so I totally understand ♥

omggg still a handful of hours for me BUT HOW EXCITING. ouch at early work hour, hope the first writing day doesn't suck too hard. I will try to hit the first 1,667 before sleeping because I usually write around midnight, anyway.

I AM CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC but it feels like forever since I tried original fic. Kind of set myself an unofficial goal to post the fic up; maybe not as I go, because nobody deserves to be inflicted with my first drafts, but once I can edit it. Maybe posting a chapter every couple of days in December or something. /still pondering
