Ah, I know everyone is really down from this recent death, I know I am, but... we should try and keep our spirits up! We can't let this get us down. I know it's hard everyone... but I think we can all do it, if we help each other. But I am sorry for those who knew Ty Lee well, I've heard she's really nice, it's really too bad... but she's ( Read more... )

I believe that both places are certainly in need of those with your sorts of skills. Lady Nani is in charge of the kitchen, while Sir Shinji is the proprietor of the Northern Lights.

Insofar as baking goes, you might wish to contact Lady Umi; she has great skill in that area, and I am certain that the two of you could easily plan something of that nature.

As for an event for this coming holiday, Sir Demyx is currently planning an event. You may also wish to contact him in that regard.

Shinji... okay I'll have to talk to him then. I'm glad to help in anyway I can.

Okay, so Umi, Shinji, and Demyx. Plus I need to talk to Nani again. I should make a list of things to do, it's getting big already!

Thank you for letting me know all this! It really helps a lot!

You are quite welcome.

Should you have need of anything further, do not hesitate to ask.

I'll bet both places would love your help, miss. I work at both, by the way. I think the soup kitchen might need the help a little more, but you should ask Miss Nani. There's no way anyone would turn down a nice lady like you, though!

By the way, as for cooking, it's tricky. We have milk and eggs and usually flour and that kinda basics, but no butter. And spices are sort of rare. Sugar, sometimes. Hey, was I the nice guy you were talking about? I'm Sorata, by the way. Arisugawa Sorata, Sora or Sora-chan for short.

Oh? Miss Nani? I've spoken with her before! She's really nice too. I'd be happy to help out, especially if there is need of it.

You really are nice. Yes, I was talking about you I just didn't know your name. It's nice to finally have it, Sorata! Mine is Sakita Shiori. Everyone just calls me Shiori.

I figured with the shortage of food here that cooking wouldn't be easy, but I'm sure we'll figure out something! Two heads are better than one!

That's right. And it's Shinji - Shinjiro, that is - at the bar. He usually hires people left and right, too.

Cooking here is... exciting... at least. I'm a little unused to it again, too, but luckily we have some world-class chefs in this place, which makes it fun.

Well I'm hardly world-class when it comes to cooking, but I'd like to hope I could help out as best I can!

It seems I have a lot of people to talk to!

Oh! Pardon my rudeness, miss!

My name is Sanji, head chef at the Northern Lights. May I be so bold as to ask for your name, my lady?

Oh, it's okay, don't apologize!

My name is Shiori. It's nice to meet you Sanji! So you're the head chef? That's really impressive, you must be very good! So you really need help at the Northern Lights? I'd love to help out, in any way. I can cook and clean, and help serve customers. I can learn new things if there is anything else!

People come back when they die here? Really?

...Come back for real, or as, like, zombies?

From what I've been told, when people die here they come back a day later. As if nothing happened.

... it's like a miracle, though... I wonder how it's possible.

Huh!

...Man, too bad it couldn't work like that back home. Though I'd still take home over this place any day. This place just gets weirder and weirder the more I learn about it...

Huh.. I wouldn't mind another chef. I see my people agree with me there, so.. it's fine with me.

You must be Shinjiro? It's nice to meet you, I'm Shiori.

I can do whatever is needed, I'll learn if I must. I just want to help,I can't stand sitting around anymore. Since I can't fight, I figure this will be better than nothing. Thank you for having me!

Yeah, that's me. Uh.. and same to you.

Hey, hey, slow down. You can do all that.. we got plenty of other cooks at the 'Lights. Best ones in the damn city.
