i told my architect my budget was 700k for consturcting the store. and now he tells me it's 1.5M. how do i know i'm getting the right price?

the only way to find out if you're getting a raw deal is if you ask another contractor or two to make a quote. The problem is if you got a design-build architect then you wouldn't have a choice, unless he agrees to allow you to look for other contractors.

well i guess i dont have a choice since we are really rushing the store. you could check out the perspectives at beaang.multiply.om :) check the photos and see if its worth 1.5m
bte, its a 88sqm space

I saw the perspectives. I donno who your designer is but you might want to scale down the design a bit. It is impressive on paper but I don't know if it will work. The colors and the extravagant design might take the attention away from your merchandise considering this is only an 88 sqm store, and considering it is in SM Pampanga (correct?).

Re the 1.5M price tag, well that depends on the materials you will use. If most of the walls and fixtures will be using laminates, and if all lights, signages, floor tiles, store room shelves are included, then the cost might be just right. To give you an idea though, most of the boutiques we design only cost around 500K.

*eh mahal naman tlga sumingil si O eh... kaya nga hindi namin sa kanya pinagawa yung bahay dito.
