I decided to respond to your review here because it was such a lovely review and I just had to let you know that. I'm quite keen on seeing "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" now. Really, I love Maggie Smith and the summary I read online sounded brilliant. Besides, I can't resist a good student/teacher relationship. And that quote was wonderful. Feel free to picture Evelyn as a brunette if you like; her physical appearance is hardly set in stone. In point of fact, Evelyn's hair--in my mind--is dull and ashy, which can easily translate as a light brown. So there. As for the picture, I was uncertain if I should even post it because I think that Saige Thomson is really too pretty to be Evelyn, with her flawless skin and exquisite cheekbones. So picture her however you like. I'm not offended ( ... )

The only thing I'm worried about is September; the term starts and my schedule gets so hectic. But I'll try. In the interim, I have. Lucius/OFC story planned which won't be as long as Promises. It should give me time to write it. We shall see!

I think next chapter is a bit more cheery. I know this one was a bit depressing but seventeen should be more upbeat. And I promise the smut won't be melancholy and that there will be no evil, gropey professors. Oh wait! Yes there will be...

Yes, I can see her as Evelyn, she fits into what I see in my imagination. when i read the story.

I loved the picture of Jason Isaacs at the premier, he looked gorgeous with the Caesar haircut, but what was with Radcliffe and Grint in the picture with Emma Watson, they looked awful. Grint needs a haircut by a barber or a stylist who knows how to cut hair and could make hi look attractive. He needs all the help he can get until he grows out of that awkward stage. Radcliffe's hair looks as greasy as Snape's after a week without washing it. The expression on the face of each was weird.

Oh I agree! Emma looked lovely as ever (admittedly, the red headband was a bit much) and all the older actors looked so distinguished, but Dan and Rupert really need to get it together. They looked unkempt and childish. And Rupert needs to get that hair out of his eyes!
