Lots of pillows or just one? Two, though they get a bit sandwiched between my head and sometimes I steal my bedmates. I'm actually a horrible person to share a bed with because I kick. :-P

What kind of books do you read? Just like LE, I read a variety of genres. I love poetry so I've almost always got an anthology with me. I've recently become quite ( Read more... )

Yes, you have created a monster, haven't you? Heeheehee. Seriously though, 'Illicit Material' opened my eyes to a whole other realm of... possibilities. I'm a very happy girl, and I should say that I owe you a big 'THANK YOU'.

I read it in high school, but I only remember the parts that were highlighted in yellow. They weren't bad.

I enjoyed it. It's not my favourite book, but I can't really resist a thinly-veiled biography. Hmmmmm... obviously most people read it for the explicit sexual content, but besides all that, it's interesting. Because it is in the first person and the author is male, you get that sort of masculine viewpoint that not everyone appreciates. If you have nothing else to read, though, I say go for it.

You do love cheese, don't you. How about wine? Your cheese and the wine I bought yesterday should go well together. I have to limit my cheese due to food sensitivities, but I do find it hard to resist a nice piece of cream Havarti melted on a nice crusty piece of bread, or crab dipmade with almost any cheese. I occasionally give in, but I usually pay for it in the end, but sometimes it's worth it.

I do love cheese. I grew up not five minutes away from a cheese shop called Homage to Fromage. My younger sister and I would go there every day and have a cheese sandwich for lunch, and we familiarised ourselves with the cheese world. I worked there during the summer as well. So yes, cheese and I have a very special relationship, and when I can afford it, I buy as much as I can. Havarti is delicious, and I also like melting brie on toast as well as something slightly herby. The best cheese I ever ate was a lavender cheese. My mouth is watering at the thought. As for wine, I don't drink much, if I'm being honest. Wine was more my parents' drink. But sometimes I'll have a glass if it's a special occasion or if I'm hosting a party. I have a website bookmarked that matches cheeses with the wines that best complement their flavours. You must think I'm quite strange, waffling on like this. It's just that this is one of those subjects that I can truly speak knowledgeably about.
