Christmas day was very nice. Went to the Irish restaurant like last year with some of my dads family. Hung out with cousins. Came home. Yesterday wasn't really my day. Take it from a college student who knows, do what you REALLY want to do and don't ever settle for less! If teaching doesn't feel right, don't do it! I have been struggling with the same thing you have and I too, have changed my mind abut teaching and playing it safe. Life is too short and too precious not to dream big and go for it!
Faith is a powerful thing and if you have enough of it in yourself and God, dreams can and will come true. I was going to teach too, but now I know that writing is really where my passion lies. I'm going to write novels and love every minute of it!
A lot of people will try to tell you that it's not practical, especially in college. Their favorite thing to do in college, no matter what career your choose, is to say "there's no money in that" or "it's really hard to get into that, why don't you do something easier?" Don't listen to them. Follow your heart and God's instructions. That's the best advice I can give you.
