Christmas Time is Here Again
I can't believe how friggin cold it is outside. Unfriggin-believable. I I had my mother's car today for school and work...and as I was walking down the hill from the parking lot, I must have looked like a retard because I pulled my coat over my face almost trying to keep it warm because the wind was whipping right in my face and it hurt!
I found out last weekend, that my father has ran up some debt between paying off his master's degree, which he accomplished in 2003, and my tuition as well. Something to the tune of 14,500 between two credit cards. He decided not to tell my mother, but rather try and fix it himself. He isn't the type that spends frivolously*, but he thinks that he can take care of things with credit cards, which isn't always the case. Hence, why I don't have a single credit card, yet. So anywho, he decided to take out a personal loan from a credit union, the same one I go to, to take the loan and try and get rid of some of his debt. My mother was none to happy and told him not to worry and that it would be taken care of. However, my mom told me that if she had known about that before she had gone Christmas shopping, she wouldn't have spent so much so far. So she said that we have to watch finances. I mean, we have never really been in any financial trouble, my mother has worked with accounting for almost 20 some years, so she knows what and how to manage money, but I think that the part that got her was that my dad didn't tell her.
I think that me and Nate have hit some sort of plato , if you will. We kinda talk, but not really because neither one of us really has a good break from classes to sit and talk. I acutally missed my abnormal psyche class the other day so that I could talk with him because I hadn't seen him in a week from the other classes and finals and other bullshit.
And now onto work. :D hehehe. I am working double every Saturday, from now until Christmas. And even the week after that til New Year's too I bet! It has been crazy, but the thing that I like....is how fast it goes by. I like it that I can have a seven to eight hour shift and it feels like it goes by in like one or two hours. It's amazing. I know that I am going to be making quite a bit of money, but it all has to go to school. Tuition and all that stuff, unfortunately.
I got my nails done today. I was soo excited. I love the first day of having new nails. I got the french because I love it and like the fact that I am not stuck with just one color until I get them done again. :)
Well I am going to get going and go to bed. I need to be at work for nine and bring my mother for an overtime shift at 8! Good Night. ;)
