ugh stupid assistants or new nurses calling. They always say the wrong thing and scare the bejesus out of you. You should be permitted to smack them when they do.
I'm familiar with that-- patellofemoral syndrome-- because I have it. I crushed both my knee caps when I was a teenager. I was prescribed Celebrex a few years ago. I ran out of it quickly so I use ASA or some other OTC's now whenever the jockey cap pain comes back. I only skimmed your journal entry. I have a lot of work to do. Maybe I'll read the rest of it later.
There's lot of sites to go to for info. The best one I found was this one. It talks about painkillers, physiotherapy, surgery, knee braces, and proper footwear among other things. It's worth skimming over if you have time.
And now that we know that you're STD free, I can go back to fantasizing about our life together on a tropical island and having sex in hammocks...*sighs*
