I don't understand this at all. I have a hard time with the right wing uber Republicans I know who make well-intentioned liberals and their causes out to be things hatched in the fires of hell. Ive always known people on the Left can be the same way, but this is just nauseating to me

Alas, boorishness is getting to be the New Chic, what with so many popular boors going around lauding their "political incorrectness".

From whatever angle it comes from, you have to work to let those comments slide off your brain like water off a duck's back. And then you tell those deluded souls, "Well, bless your heart!" And then you never let them darken your mental doorstep again.
