You know what's funny (of course you don't)(well, I mean Im sure you do know funny things but just not what I'm referring to here)(this is a stupid way of writing, I know)(not to mention syntactically and grammatically tragic ( Read more... )

um ... you might have a personal interest in mind here, and for that I say 'Go For It!' But methinks you are being a little tough on yourself. True - most of your posts have been sporadic lately, and are often about sex and politics, (which is more than fine with me, btw), but through your writing, you display a great many positive traits (aside from first-class writing abilities)!

For example, from reading your stuff, I gather that
- you treat people fairly.
- you are non-judgemental, unbiased and fair.
- you are a little sensitive about yourself sometimes (which makes you human).
- you are a guy who likes to have a good time
- and of course, you seem like someone who could hold his own in a conversation about a great many things.

not really a personal interest, at least not one I'm consciously aware of...but you never you know ;). Its just that I looked at my journal without logging in first for the first time in forever (thus not seeing any of my locked posts), and I wasn't too pleased with how sparse my entries have been, and how little of my life they open a window to. Then I thought how that stands in stark contrast to my "locked" entries, which reveal SO much in that one area. I am never ashamed of what I do with my life, body, time, etc...but, I do have a concern that I don't appear to have a life that is not in balance just because my journaling focus hasn't been.

That said....THANKS!!!! for your kind words. I really appreciate them. I love all your posts (with the exception of the Reagan one...but that's no different than any of my other friends). Seriously, your entries are an example of the type of feel I wish more of my entries had: balanced and about a good variety of your every day life experiences.

I'm with you on this. I don't think what I write in my journal really is a full expression of who I am, but I do think my comments give a far better sense.

I comment all the fucking time. Not so with posting.

Don't fret.

You're all that and a bag of condoms.

I've been very self-obsessed the past couple of days. When I'm finished, I'll catch up on the canadian.

yes, the Canadian is worth reading about, I think. :) But no worries about being self-obsessed. If you don't obsess over yourself, no one else is going to do it for you! lol

Thanks for kind words, though :)

Nooooow we're talkin'.

Aside from the sex, you've been very open, honest, and insightful with regards to my posts/comments. I think you're a pretty intelligent guy and I have no doubt we'd get along fabulously in real life.

hooch. :)

Hooch for life, biaaatch!!! Don't hate the player, don't hate the game, hate the one who insists on always playin by the rules! lol

Thanks for saying that. I really respect the way your mind works/assess things, so its good to know enough of who I am comes out to pass muster with you. And I have no doubt we would get along great as well.

...though, you'd have to know I'd be annoyingly persistent about always having sleepovers, hottub parties and all those other "good friend" activities! *grin*
