it feels like i'm almost sure of nothing.

well the winter retreat was really fun even though i was one of the 16 other kids whose luggage was left behind. but it was all great since everyone let us borrow things when we needed something.

we got up to lake ann camp around 8:30 and just hung out for a few hours & then we had session.

the next morning we played some games after morning session and also did this personality thing. we had to circle a bunch of words that described us and whichever category you had the most in you had to sit with people who had that category too. i was an "i" and so were kate & erin. chris spent like 10 minutes on each category so we just talked most of the time. our category was last, and of course once chris announces our group, he goes "and here the i's are doing a wonderful example of themselves. i's are not good listeners.." haha wow. he also said "i's will probably fail out of college" because we won't be paying attention and will be socializing too much.
after, we went out to tube hill. me kristi kate & erinn did a couple runs and then just sat in some tubes watching all the older guys doing crazy things on the tubes. i'm suprised none of them broke anything..

my jeans were extremely soaked from tubing since i had no snowpants so i put them right up against the fire so they were touching the glass and left them there while we went to the cafeteria and played the moon game & i never.
that was not a good idea.
when we got back to the room, i went over to my jeans and the fire had burnt them. :o it was crazy. they're not only a burntish brown color but they got thinned out so there's a new huge hole in them.

later me kate & the guys went back out tubing around midnight. it was pretty awesome & crazy.
matt would push me & kate and then run and jump on his tube, trying to knock us off.
he succeeded a bunch of times, but the greatest one was when he held on to us and kept pushing us causing me to fly off and just skid on my butt for a third of the hill. then greg or someone came flying down, knocking me over again & then i started flipping & tumbing down the rest of the hill.
it was sweet though, i went to the side of a hill where they had built a jump and went off it with my tube. i came like a foot away from hitting my head on a tree but it was fun.
poor kate, she literally got knocked over about six times when she was just standing at the bottom of the hill..
after a couple of hours me and kate started walking up the hill thinking one of the guys would carry up our tube, but turns out the guys thought it would be funny to just leave us half way up the hill with no tube..
they hid in the woods, jumped out at us, and whitewashed us.
it was like a 20 minute brain freeze. but we kind of got them back.

anyways, we left this morning and on our bus we watched napolean dynamite. we not only watching the regular version of it, but the documentary of it too. it was kinda weird, but funny. seriously, he has like twenty of his family members in that movie with him.
near the end of the ride, me and erin moved up front with joel matt tim & brian. after awhile they started up a sports trivia game. me and erin were totally lost. we were still trying to figure out what cities go in what states. no joke. i always get all the cities mixed up to where they are..

when we got back i was happy to see that my luggage was there and not totally lost.
even though without all my stuff though, it was a really fun weekend :)

oh yeah, brandon totally made the trip awesome. he's so cool :)
