WHAT DID YOU DO LAST NIGHT? took a bath, made dinner (stir-fry with broccoli, carrots + tofu) watched the simpsons and malcolm, made the cake and icing i mentioned above, re-read part of 'girlfriend in a coma,' went to bed quite early.
tonight we watched 'monster house' on the discovery channel, and that shit is intense. one dude was so accident-prone. he got a nail right through his finger, then he got shocked pretty badly, and his sunglasses got broke. and he pulled the nail out with pliers, and started right back working. it reminded me of my dad a bit. he used to come home frequently with various injuries and casts and splints, and he used to get these gashes on his head. he'd walk in the door with his baseball cap on, and bend down and take off his hat to display a nasty stitched-up wound to his children. ew ew ew.
other than that, not much exciting and new here. i've had a decent week or so since my last posting, but our biggest excitement is the new shelving brought home from texas. whoo.
also, what is all this interviewing going on here? i'm just curious about the genesis of it. it's all been very interesting to read; it just seemed like it randomly started one day, but maybe i missed something crucial. oh well.
