the biggest most exciting thing that happened today was we went to target. the only reason we ever really go to target is for their store-brand cat litter. it's only $2 for a 20-lb bag, and when you have 4 cats, that means a lot. they've been out of it at our location for like 3 weeks now, but today they had it in, so we bought 2 bags. big

do you use target brand scoopable?
does it work well.... as well as tidycats or whatever?
i need to cut back the litter budget.

i don't use the scoopable -- i use the plain 'cause i have to clean the box often enough that it all usually has to go in the trash anyway, even if i get the clumping kind. also, i don't know if this is true, but i read somewhere a long time ago that the clumping litter, if some were to enter a kitty's digestive tract (like when they're licking their paws clean), it can clog up their pipes. (!!!) i really should fact-check this kind of stuff. the scoopable is $5.49 for a 14-lb container. or at least it is here.
see, these are the kinds of things i spend a lot of time thinking about. i never ever thought i would be like this.
