Thanks so much for my polar bear. Awesome choice! How did you know that I had adopted one? Okay, so it was virtually, but I hope it has a parental impact in a shrinking polar world ( Read more... )

That sounds like a traveling nightmare.

Pretty much, although I've heard worse about people traveling from the West Coast before Christmas. Then again, there were serious storms to consider.

This time? No bad weather on the East Coast. No reason. I've logged hundreds of thousands of travel miles and had some very forgettable trips in transit. What was so frustrating was the bizarre sequence and combo, and the very disappointing behavior of the airline. I've never seen such disregard or chaos across the board with so many people mistreated outright.

But it's over, and my "communication" will be on the way to their executives soon to share my feelings on the subject.

I seriously avoid air travel whenever I can! I'd rather just stay home. My favorite travel story was coming home from Orlando (I think) and the airline kept switching terminals. Even the crew working the desk had no clue as to what was going on and they admitted it. Then when we boarded the plane they said something like, thank you for being so patient. If we're delayed again, we hope to have you aboard. I couldn't stop laughing, because it was such a bizarre comment. Patient once! Maybe! Not twice!
Good for you for taking the time to write and complain. I always say I will, but never follow through.

I used to fly many times during each month, so that has lessened. I'm eternally grateful. I'd rather not travel the way it apparently has to be now ( ... )
