yeah, yeah, everyone's got flooding today. the Tex-Mex border, Florida's underwater anyway...but here in the Boston area, more specifically, the parking lot where I work, we are flooded. there are only 8 usable parking spaces left that aren't in a flood zone. I bought a bright orange flowered pair of rainboots and a red rain coat - and I have been saving my entire street with them all month. The only drain on the entire street is front of my house. Apparently since its in front of MY house - the entire neighborhood looks to me to clean it during rain storms.

I ended up calling 911 yesterday afternoon when I couldnt keep up with it on my own. Not only THAT - but it was thundering and lightning and I was out there with a freaking broom.....with Jack alone in the house. AGH.
