Getting along with your mother in law and having a relationship.....is majorly awesome. I love mine too. She was the one person who helped me fill out the admissions forms for college. She always took care of me just doing motherly stuff my mother would NEVER dream of doing. She still makes us dinner every Monday night and watches Jack 2 days a week and sometimes on Saturday nights. My mother is more - of a person who needs to be taken care OF....even if she helps us out to. Its just different. Always has been. I know I married my husband in part - because his parents have always been so wonderful to me.
