This was our first Christmas with just us on Christmas Eve, it was nice. Today we are heading off to his Mom's and staying overnight, but he does have to work, so back tomorrow night.

When you work in insurance you get a few peeks into parts of people's lives that can throw you for a bit of a loop. Checking the drivers in a household there was a guy born 1942, another guy 1972 and a woman 1976. The notes said that she was the common law wife of the older guy, and the other man was his son. I can now add a new one to that list- getting hit by a car. I'm fine, he didn't even knock me down, but I really would have preferred not being hit.
