I decided that it was high time I went back and re-read some of my favourites in the Checkmate 'verse - so I just did, and most of my blech-ness is now gone. I'm contentedly amusing myself with thoughts of John trying to stretch his ears, and rinsing bunnybed fleece out of his mouth, and StonedCatIsStoned with the physics department, and belly berries, and...

I need a cup of tea and some knitting time, now. John!Kitty has made me feel much better. *nods*
