Sheesh, I KNEW there was something fishy about that thing. NO WAY do I write like Arthur Conon Doyle, Stephen King AND Douglas Adams.

...I don't get what's wrong with that? *confused* It's an advertising feature if you 'click here' (I doubt many people did?), whilst also being a fun lil' meme... or did I miss the point/misread that link?

I mind the not being in any way at all an actual analysis, but while I don't mind advertising, I do mind this:

I will also note that there's a "sign up for our awesome newsletter!" box on the side, which says that by doing so you can download FREE a "classic" book on writing by Charles Raymond Barrett -- a book which is, it *doesn't* tell you, also available at Project Gutenberg because it's from 1898.

That's just tacky.

Most of the issue is that all those links in peoples' blogs kick up the originating site's google rating, so a writer looking for a Christian press to submit work to or buy books from will end up at a scam vanity press. It's really a question of whose efforts you want to support, and vanity presses and Christian publishers are both on my list of personal no-nos, so this was useful for me to know...
