I'd like to introduce you to my new pair of sneakers!! I got them on clearance from the men's section at shoe carnival. Yes, the men's section. The girls section was pretty icky and lacked brown shoes that interested me. Plus these really aren't super masculine, so I'm sure I can pull them off :) yay for new shoes!

Nice! It really is hard to find a pair of nice looking brown sneakers for women.

luckily there are more and more brown shoes for women these days, but like solly said below, it's entirely seasonal. Now men's and women's non-athletic sneakers are pretty close in some styles, so I got lucky in that respect :)

I always hated shopping for any non-white sneakers or non-sandal shoes at this time of year. Women's shoe section are completely seasonal. The men's side is always much more stable, as far as style goes, but men's shoes are too wide for me (I have skis for feet... long and skinny). This resulted in me ordering black shoes for work from the internet for 3 solid years! Huge pain!

Those shoes are super cute! You'll totally pull them off.

:) I like them too! I'm wearing them now, pretty comfy! they've got a soccer like tread, so that's taking some getting used to. However, the grip will be nice for all the walking around belgium we're going to be doing.

I've had really good luck with buying shoes on zappos. You don't end up saving any money, but the free shipping (both ways) and the large selection more than makes up for it.
