With exams finished and teaching practically over for the semester, on Friday I ventured into the city to start pricing digital cameras, have a look at the range and basically have a look around in all the camera and electrical shops

Both my (non-digital) cameras are Olympus mju :)
My lil'est baby is the non-zoomy one mju II "special edition" (tiny, black with gold buttons. It's Tah Cute. I love it. Takes wonderful pics in all kind of crappy lightings. That's the one I used for GOTR gigs).
And my bigger one is the biggest zoomy one they had, I think it's mju 170 - they don't even do it anymore, probably because, as I noticed, when you fully extend the zoom, you need a really, really good light or a really really sensitive film to avoid a grainy/underexposed pic.
But yeah, I'd been recommanded the mju II by another customer who had it and seemed to really know his stuff, and I never regretted it. These lil' babies are Teh Shit. I'm sworn to Olympus now.
And they're cute AND small so you can take them around everywhere.

The camera that I bought at Christmas was an Olympus mju III 120, which takes the best photos also....so naturally I was thinking about buying one of their digital cameras, if I could get a good deal on it, especially knowing that their casings are good (this one is a steel alloy or something or other, waterproof and everything, like my other Olympus).
So yeah, Olympus rock my world too!
