I know I haven't posted in ages. I've been pretty busy. Add in that Kev got a new video card for our computer and has been on the computer every chance he gets to play games. We have wanted to get a dog for a long time. We don't have one yet. I found what kind I want but they are $800. Now, I have never paid more than $25 for a dog before (from the pound). This has been a year of loss. Lost friends and family as well as "stars". Many years ago when my paternal grandfather died it was rather sudden. He was a strong man who never missed work due to illness. He was a telephone lineman then a truck driver. He sometimes worked two jobs. He came home one day and collapsed. He had adult leukemia. It's been a nice weekend so far. Friday night Kev worked until midnight. We went to Waffle House with a friend from work afterwards. He was way out of his comfort zone but it was good visiting. The guy in my office and I have been talking knitting stuff and he just ordered a bunch of great yarn. He loves the hand died wool and silk blends. He brought some in for me to pet. I have a facebook page now. I don't know how to use it and I don't have any friends. I don't like their policies. But, I've had my arm twisted to join so that I can see pics. Okay. Don't expect me to be able to use it any better than the Ipod that I can barely get to turn off when I want it to.

We leave for Pennsic tomorrow. So, we're doing laundry and such and generally packing. I made stew last night and we had leftovers today. So, I was cleaning the stew pot.
