Usually Mandie and I watch AGT together but she is off in Florida this week with my mother. I went ahead and watched tonight's show. Funny. The comedy act that Count Sinclair had perform at Atlantia's bardic night at Pennsic was on the show. They were just a clip and didn't make it through but it was neat recognizing them.

Crunch time for details for the event. I've worked out the marshals & mol. I have two marshals for authorizations and I will Mol. I'm expecting several fighter card renewals too. Cool. My grandmother passed away Wednesday with me, my mother and my Aunt Val holding her. Since then it has been all about distractions. I'm not ready to talk about it much but I have been deep in books and movies. Anything to not think. So, later on this topic ( Read more... )

Yesterday as I was turning off my phone to go into work, the phone rang. It was my mother and I almost didn't answer. But, I did. My grandmother is dying. I went yesterday and sat with her a while. I worked a bit late today. Kevin is working until midnight and Mandie is on a girl scout trip. So, for dinner I stopped at the farmers market and picked up some potatoes and cabbage and onion. Last night was my first rattle free night in probably 4 months! I could lay down with only one pillow. Okay, so my insomnia kicked in and I couldn't sleep but it was still awesome!
