It's rare that I post to LiveJournal any more, since I have Twitter, which is faster, easier to read and more people I know use it! However, sometimes something comes along that just won't fit in 140 characters, and this is one of those times

I come across people like that every day in the course of my job. I believe that they are an endemic problem symptomatic of a broken, selfish, polarised society.
