Description: A Narm is a moment that is supposed to be serious, but due to either over-sappiness, poor execution, excessive Melodrama, or the sheer absurdity of the situation, the drama is lost to the point of becoming unintentionally funny. It can be extremely subjective.
It is named for the famous scene in the last season of Six Feet Under, where the main character Nate suffers a brain embolism. He suddenly grabs his right arm and repeats "Numb arm!", but it quickly becomes "N'arm! N'arm!" Despite being the climax of one of the best shows HBO has ever created, the scene was overwhelmingly found by fans and reviewers to be funny rather than sad.
CSI MIAMI: HORATIO CAINE AND SUNGLASSES
Burn baby, burn.
YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH!
While all of Horatio Caines oneliners are pretty Narmy, I chose this scene because he actually takes off his sunglasses, just so he can put them on right before delivering his line. Alone. In the desert. He's such a dramaqueen. Watch it here. Also: a little montage of his oneliners
S. DARKO: JACKSON RATHBONE HEADBUTTING ED WESTWICK
S. Darko is ridiculous all the way through, but this scene is on a level of it's own.
ONE TREE HILL: A DOG EATS DAN'S HEART
It makes me so sad that I coudn't find cap of the dog actually grabbing the heart. This scene needs to be watched to be believed.
DAWSON'S CREEK: CRYBABY
Any compassion you might have had left for his Dawson at this point, is completely erased when he pulls this face. It's a tearjerker right up until this point. Live action.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: BET ON IT
My love for this scene knows no bounds. The pirouettes and MJ moves and jazzhands. The dramatic throwing of sand. The aggressive golfing. The terrible terrible terrible CGI. Not to mention his tan. It's exactly the same shade of orange as the desert behind him. I feel sorry for anyone who haven't seen it.
DOCTOR WHO: ANGEL TRANSPORTATION
I don't even know how to comment on this scene. What the hell were you thinking RTD? Crowning Moment of Awesome: You're doing it wrong.

This is of course extremely subjective. I have chosen these scenes because they for me are the most Narm-y. If you feel like somethings missing I'd love to hear your thoughts. The world needs more Narm.
