Don't you just hate it when you get stuck at a level in a game, and you keep trying your hardest, but it keeps on saying you're a loser, and have to try again? I don't like being insulted by software. Because I'm not a loser. It is just that the software designers were to lazy to create any more levels. So what do they do, they make a level that is ( Read more... )

Lara Croft.. I rather see the film. For obvious reasons.

Assassin's Creed's trailer looked beautiful. It is only a shame that the gameplay itself never looks as good. And of course you revenged.

And of course you killed General Shepherd.

Sure, it might have great artwork, and they wrapped a nice tale around it. But still, in essence, it are just games where you have to kill and maim.

Good games are games with good artwork, a good story, and the game is actually the story. I've never killed a single creature. I lifted curses from my fiancée, by eating rancid ice creams, and feeding cheese to a lactose intolerant volcano God.

However beautiful today's games, I still think the stories used to be so much better and funnier.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, okay, most games are just pretty and stuff. That's why I haven't mentioned Tenchu, because that game has no story, all you have to do is act like a ninja and stuffz.
But seriously, I sat with my mouth wide open during some bits of Modern Warfare 2... Last time I had my mouth wide open was during the "Ashes to Ashes" finale, even though I haven't seen much from the series, it was that brilliant. Ask the world. Most people would tell you it was brilliant. And so was the story in MW2 (ok, not as brilliant as THAT but it was bloody brilliant) XD

So =P

I dunnow, I like a bit of violence in a game, because that's exactly how I wouldn't do things in the real world. But I do love to solve puzzels as well, and that's what Lara Croft is mostly about ;)

You're right in the funny area tho. Most games try to be epic these days. No more Crash Bandicoot XD
