....I think it's pretty much summed up by saying: "GOD, IT'S SO FUCKING COMPLICATED."
It really, really is. Kuhn is.....man, it's not exactly accurate to say that he's in love with him, because I don't think Bat is really capable of it. But Kuhn is probably the first person he's ever made a connection with, and it terrifies him a little bit. Even knowing perfectly well what kind of a bastard he is, Kuhn reached out to him and keeps trying for him, keeps showing him kindness and he just doesn't know how to deal with this. He hasn't felt like this since Jinana, and yes. It brings all the twisted urges with it.
He wants to kill Kuhn, but he also wants Kuhn to keep paying attention to him. He wants to hate him, but he just can't seem to make it work like it used to. Kuhn confuses and frustrates and frightens him, and he's desperately wants keep him.
Yeah, it's complicated. And one hell of a trainwreck.
Oh, Ivy. Ivy is.....she's psychopathic, she approves of his attitudes towards people, she encourages all his crazy, she tops the hell out of him, and she's powerful enough to scare the shit out of him.
.....it's...really kind of surprising that he likes her, considering his usual attitude towards women. Ivy is special in that regard, the exception to the rule. He also really, really kind of wants to do her. And surprisingly, so far has no real urge to look for a place to stick the knife. I blame the pheromones and the fact she hasn't done anything so far to piss him off. ♥
YOU! YOU with...uh.....with the hammer. And the storms.
I'd say, as of the moment, guarded hostility is probably the best way to put it. His memories at that point are kind of messed up, what with the massive AIDA infection messing him up. But he remembers that he lost a fight, and that's something he HATES.
....oh, Jinana. The other extremely complicated relationship in his life. She was the center of his universe and probably the closest experience he's had to being in love, and we all know how that ended up!
Since showing up in Camp, things have gotten complicated again and he hates it so much. It was easier, when she was dead and he'd devoured her. Now, he has to deal with things every time he sees her and there's no end in sight. He still wants her, he's still horribly jealous and possessive and wants to hurt the people around her. But now, he's not sure how to deal with her because she just won't fucking HATE him.
He used to think Sera was a means to an end, and kind of looked at her in abstract. She wasn't exactly a person, so much as a useful shiny.
Now, though? Since she told him the truth, he's....kind of wary and uncertain about her. The amount of times she's been kind to him also makes him uneasy, but at least he's not.....outright hostile towards her?

Yeah, I'd say it's a pretty mutual hatred between them.
