I'm not sure why Livejournal seems to think this is an improvement. Why are some of the most basic functions hidden from view? I'm still looking for my "friends" management and view functions....

For now, there's still an option to go back to the old version. We'll see how liong that lasts.

There have been a few snow mosquitoes here and there, but this morning they greeted me in more significant numbers on my way to the car. It was also fairly warm, relatively speaking. Where it had been in the 40's or upper 30's in the morning, today it's over 50, approaching summer temps. I won't be suprised if we break 70f today. It's a bit warm ( Read more... )

Why have I been recently getting so many badly written emails asking for fairly specific subcontracted supplies for Chinese factories? Today someone was requesting stainless steel hinges.

Everything's backwards. Last week we had morning lows of -10f, and in places like Chicago were experiencing summer like temps. This week it snowed in a lot of the lower 48, and it's raining here right now! Not a wintery freezing drizzle, but a propper spring shower from cumulonimbus clouds.
