*_* *HEART*

Sir Orfeo?

Do they make, like... a book of Middle English writings? Cause... middle english gets me hot. And i would love a book of it.

In my British Literature textbook, the poem "Adam Lay Ibounden" was in there. I love that song so much. I sang it at a local open mic night. Then i translated it to the poor Texan crowd. hehe. <3

Is the poem longer than the lyrics of Undrentide? I'd love to read it.

and, i think that's awesome that you sang it at open mic night. rawk. i sang a few gaelic songs at open mic a few times. :) afterwards the coordinator of open mike was thanking me profusely for not being another "solo remake with a guitar"

canturbury tales is last on the list to read in this class.
i've read some....in fact, about 10 tales. but i think i must have read them in translation (it was high school)...i don't know why? but i think this because this class really is my first exposure to pure ME poetry (well, it would be pure with the original letters, i suppose).
