Capitalism, an inchoate agglutination, with a comparable relationship to its masters as the Shoggoths to the Old Ones - bears no emotion, lives solely for its master's behest like a eunuched lapdog crying for beacon. Tyranny is permissible as long as it is privatized tyranny and not state-sponsored - though we all know the recent trend is for legislators to sugarcoat policy in the name of its "secret" love affairs with its corporate harem - "the race to the bottom" as John D. Donahue refers to it - not to mention the coordinated intervention of the state and its co-conspirators in keeping their freakish experiment alive e.g, Bernanke cutting interest rates and the making of large sums of the central bank's money open to private banks via money auctions, $150 bil. federal tax refund stimulus package, etc.
Yes, of course, to squelch the tide and pull in the reins on capitalism's hitherto unchecked march towards global dominion is a must. I say it needs to happen before the prospect of cosmic capitalism is even tenable.
Had they been a frankly guerrilla army there would have been - for a lengthy conflict of position and attrition they were not professional soldiers and they were not geared - nor should they have been expected the wealthy and aristocratic Washington free from money worries had little understanding of the American and British forces sent foraging parties to confiscate cattle and other supplies from the back-country frontier of Pennsylvania Maryland and Virginia five of them were hardy Ulster Scot frontiersmen wearing hunting outfits bearing the motto Liberty or Death and employing the unique "Kentucky rifle " invented by Pennsylvania German gunsmiths
