My body is a perpetual angry teenager.

Love it. But proud of you for going to the gym. That's better than I can say for myself...

Girl I SO UNDERSTAND!!! For me it was cookies, cake, and challah ( I strongly suspect the bakery laces the challah I buy with crack). I remember early on blogging about these adversaries on the FastTrack to FatLoss site I joined back in January. Your commentary is much more entertaining. :-)

Seriously though - great job. Getting healthy is a real pain in the ass in the beginning. But for me at least, over time, it becomes easier, more of a habit and just a part of daily living. Keep it up Bea - you can do it!!!

Good for you getting to the gym! That's awesome!

But I also feel your pain. I found the gym to feel like a chore, which in turn made me not want to go. For me, I get excited about really good yoga classes and lately, riding my bike all over my fine city. Even when I accidentally abuse my body by forgetting to eat lunch and then hitting the bike path for thirty miles. (yeah, that was a really stupid move) ....

Hopefully you find something you get excited about (in addition to brownies, of course) to coax your body into not being so 15-yr-old. :)

Hahahaha. You are hilarious.

I have never been able to make myself go to the gym regularly for long periods oft time. I can make myself "run" (more like jog/walk/die) outside or swim regularly though. Something about gyms. Good work!
