If you know my dog Maddie, you probably know that she has always liked water. Even as a puppy, she would voluntarily get into the shower with us, if given the chance. Since I moved back to California, Maddie has slowly been getting more comfortable with going into the swimming pool. The first time I put her in, she panicked and practically drowned

She's still working on her technique. Right now, instead of just getting in the water all smooth-like, she leaps off the step and does a big belly-flop, which usually causes her to completely submerge for a moment (which she doesn't seem to like).
