although I don't deny the fact that I like dashboard (well, his older stuff anyway, his new album sucks) i do admit you're right. although let us not forget you admitted that you didn't MIND hands down.

don't go labelling all emo as 'bad'- bright eyes is what i would consider to be emo and he's none of the qualities you describe above.

last time i checked, you didn't know any of these guys personally. what makes you think that the bands you listen to are any different from these guys? everyone goes through tough times, dan, and everyone handles what they go through differently.

...and i really don't understand how you and tim can have such strong opinions on music and shut down what other people like, and then turn around and say that you have the worst parents on the planet. guess what?! you're exactly like them. stuck in your ways and closed minded. that's certainly not very christian of you, now is it?
