OK, here's the current plan.

SYD-LAX
13 MAR: QF11 Dep SYD 2:10 PM Arr LAX 9:45 AM (on the A380!)

TIME IN LOS ANGELES (AND MAYBE SAN DIEGO?) (13TH-15TH MARCH)
I'll spend from 13th-15th in LA, with possible side journeys to SD (if I have time). Lots of people in LA I really want to see! Not sure what I should do whilst here - go to Disneyland again, ( Read more... )

I was thinking Monday night too - Sunday is usually more frenetic, and Tuesday evening I'll be thinking about heading to the airport to head home at about 7pm...

TBRU Dallas is March 17-20

Chubfest/Palm Springs is March 17-20 (I'll be here)

FYI... Many guys might be out of town travelling to these events (which also fall smack in the middle of Spring Break and ST. Pat's....)

I guess there's never going to be a perfect time - this is a a really time-limited trip and I don't have a lot of flexibility, sadly, so I'm going to have to suck it up and just go. I won't be seeing everyone (if you're back on the 21st or 22nd, I'll still be around!), but I will be back later in the year.

I'm sorry if I will miss you!

Seumas: Given your short time in SoCal I would encourage you to stay in LA and minimize even more travel time here.

I will be back from my trip to NC on the 14th. If you like I can ask Steve if he could take us on a tour of Disney Studios on the 15th before you leave; maybe have a meal too. Let me know what you think of that.

On the 13th or 14th I would encourage you to visit The Gatty (http://www.getty.edu/). Whether you're a museum buff or not the architecture and setting is spectacular. And, it's free.
