Our anticipated getaway to Bermuda was canceled, thanks to Hurricane Igor making a very persistent path towards the islands. So I'm a bit down this week, as we'd looked forwards to a few days away ( Read more... )

tibortiger/Tibor & I went last year (our mutual 1st cruise ever *and* 1st "Bear"-type cruise) and had THE. GREATEST. TIME. Period. Tibor says that they should advertise the fact that *HE* completely relaxed (fell asleep in a deck-chair even, 1st day at sea). As an engineer with a details/BEING-BUSY!!! obsession, that's high praise, indeed... :o)

Most fun I've had packed into a week so far in my life... :o)

I looked into that and it's looking like it's already booked up (apparently it usually gets reserved in full by June). But something to look forward to for sure.

Bummer. I think Bermuda would have been cool. I you are interested in someplace tropical I can recommend some great places in Puerto Vallarta, MX.

I think we may just reschedule for Bermuda, but we're not sure yet. At least we got a credit on the cost of the tickets and hotel.
