*Alice walks into the pharmacy because she's a pill popper, it's canon, she has no excuses. But when she sees Mikiya behind the counter she gets all embarrassed for whatever reason. She kind of looks like a kid who just got caught with her hand in the cookie jar.*

[ And that reaction is exactly what surprises Mikiya, not to mention what she's asking him.. Yup, this is pretty confusing. And that confused look does show up on his face. ]

Ah, I just started today, so I don't see how I could have mentioned it earlier.. [ Wait, no, rather than answering that question, he should be asking what's up with her asking him that, right? ]

[A flash of blonde and white across the Pharmacy's front window as a woman trots happily by. If Mikiya had been watching, it wouldn't have looked out of the ordinary at all.

...for about 10 seconds. Then it begins to get out of the ordinary. The blonde haired woman peeks back into the window from the side she walked to with those red eyes of hers.

Though, quickly, she disappears once again. She then strolls slowly up to the door with her hands behind her back, purposely not looking at the boy inside the shop at all until she opens the door and strolls in nonchalantly...except in the case of her exaggerated movements it's less nonchalant and more...well...stupid.

She steals a couple of glances at the boy as she pretends to look at things...but doesn't say a word. She almost looks like she expects HIM to say something.]

[ Yes, it isn't all that strange to him that someone enters the pharmacy, after all, there probably are lots of regular customers around here. It's just when he starts to spot that exaggerated way of trying to be sneaky and nonchalant that he gets a bit more awkward, like there's something special going on he doesn't even know about.

... At first he tries being quiet for a few moments, but when everything just continues he decides to speak up first. ]

sob.. at least he's more normal than shiki, although that could be argued..

[ Yup, they totally aren't. But Mikiya doesn't realise this, he's just too busy being confused. For a moment he chokes up, as if he's unsure what to say, but then he frowns a little as he continues. ]

Come on, it was the town who assigned me this job without me having any kind of background experience, it's not like I could have helped it even if I wanted to.
