not many ready this anyway so let me just go on for a bit ......I used to think I would have a lot of grand plans when the first digit in my age changed for my birthday and unfortunately or fortunately now I have no clue. I know it doesn’t really mean anything and it is not a really big deal or anything but normally I at least have some idea what I ( Read more... )

I didn't have a clue either when I turned 30 and I didn't make a lot of money either. I ended up running the LA Marathon (and finishing) and eating at Taco Bell with my legs so sore, all I wanted to do was stay in bed.
PS You just went on one of the most expenisive cruise areas-Alaska. A caribbean or Mexican Rivera cruise is much cheaper. And Holland America wasn't that good of a line for the week we were on it. Hope you are not turned off to cruising for good.

Maybe just get a nice room at a hotel in SF or Cambria (Hearst Castle) for the weekend. These areas can be much cheaper than the Seattle/Alaska area and are just a few hours away. You already have the greatest man and anytime with just you two will proabably be very enjoyed.

Well that’s a lot more then I have planned right now, if I want to even have a party at this point I really need to get on the ball because, I know people’s calendars are filling up. I know that gay cruises are spendy and such and I hasn’t turned me off cruises at all I have been on several with my family and they were ALL better than this one even the first time we went on carnival was better than Holland America and that’s suppose the be the bottom of the barrel, of course the room we had there was a lot better but still….

I think we looked at stuff in SF just for kicks and found it to be super expensive (at least where we wanted to stay..lol..and we don’t live far enough to wanna pay that :P best western it is..lol.) We actually loved seattle and didn’t find it to be too expensive at all, it was the cruise ala motel6 and denny’s that we found rather well…not so much…YEAH I do have an awesome man and I am sure we will have a great time no matter what but it would be nice to be a little more focused…

I am going on Carnival again in March and I have a room to myself with portholes for $1100 total all taxes and port charges for 1. My brother and sister-in law will have a balcony room for only $1200 each. I'm going to spend a couple days in Ft Lauderdale to take care of my bear urges.

Now Focus. What do you really want to do for your Birthday?
