There was a question of what I did for my birthday last year. To be honest, I really don't remember. Could somebody fill in the blanks? I hope to make this year's bday memorable. I want to remember just one, dammit

Less than a month prior to your birthday, we moved you into our home. You had said, at the time, that was birthday enough for you. I said hogwash.

I had ordered a birthday present for you, but it did not arrive until two days after your birthday. On your birthday, I had apologized for your birthday present not arriving on time, as it was a surprise you were gonna get a birthday present at all.

On your birthday, we had a cake, special dinner, sang happy birthday, and some alcohol was involved, though we did not get drunk with Robert, me, and the three kids (though they did not drink, duh).

Two days after, when your present arrived, Robert and I gave you a computer. A few days after that, even though it was not officially a birthday present, we gave you a computer desk.

That weekend of your birthday, we went to Elysium.

We did try to make your birthday a memorable one, even if we did not succeed.

See, I just needed a little knock on the skulll to remember. It wasn't that it wasn't memorable, I just didn't remember. In fact, the only birthday I remember (real well) was my 9th one where I got 2 Skipper dolls from seperate relatives. This was before they came out with Skipper looking like slut Skipper. Ah, the 80's.
I really miss you guys, I don't know if you know how much. Even though it may not seem like it.

I guess through all the gifting from all the people, the idea is just not that special anymore.
