We go by many names and try to act like things we are not. People can be helpless and helpful. We are full of contraindications and yet we can be simple folk. Who love the tall trees and the green grass. We walk with the wise and deter the wicked. Whose simple pleasure is just to be and not to be anything. To exist with the contentment we are all humans and sometimes forget to stop and smell the roses. What makes us human is what makes us strong. There is no other like us. No matter how much we have in common we will always be different from the next.
What makes us different is what makes us the same. What others see as black and white others see as grey. Colors, shades, pigments, hues. Our eyes fix on what catches our eye-fixes upon it and will constantly gaze at it with the longing of desire. We call these things our 'treasures'. They are like sapphires to our palettes. They paint a gorgeous picture to the eye of the beholder. Ebbing and flowing this type of beauty. It can change and shift and yet-still give us that simple pleasure. That if we just look at it;it will give us such happiness. Such over-whelming sense of joy and euphoria.
My life is but a life in a sea of faces, places and colors. I will only exist once. And I will only breathe this air from these lungs for as many times as my heart thumps in my chest. I am but one person. But it is just one person that can be a friend to many. What I hope you take from this journal is of just one person. Who is learning to make a difference. I hope you take more from it than I write in it. Not everything is serious. Not everything is sound. Not everything is of desire.
But every single thing: is me. Be it good or ill. In good humor or in poor taste. Like every other human on this planet. I am an enigma wrapped in a puzzle shrouded in secrecy. I have but one key to the door to my heart and it is constantly pouring out its song. And here you have come. Stumbled upon its ground. Trodden deep in its path. Whether you stay for a second or a life-time I pray you well wishes. A good life and one where you are like the simple folk.
