Studying Culture Shock

Well as the title states, I am studying culture shock. I just read Laika's journal from Viet Nam and re-read my entries from Central America. What an AMAZING similarity in the flow of this mental state. We both wrote home stating we needed patience and time to re-adjust to the shallowness of the U.S. It makes me wonder how those comming from Africa
