This is how they'll do it, by driving us to madness, by poisoning our neurons, but burning them out with this dripping, this clicking, ticking, back and forth of a pendulum so large we can't hear it, only feel it, and it shakes us like a cannon blast has pierced us and rippled out and out once, twice, over
