Alright... I hope I'm doing this right.

I'm recently new to this comm, but I figured I'd post some of my beast machines fanart, along with info on an forum RPG I run. :)

What I liked most about Beast machines is the fact it left so many things open for interpretation and further plot at the end. I mention some of these things in further detail in the description of the RPG. Everyone was the same, despite whatever alignments they may have kept. Being part organic meant no matter how you saw their former selves in term of gender, the race definitely had it now, though it might not have been ingrained as hardily as us fleshy mammals.
Which led to some of the artwork I've done such as this. Anyone willing to try to guess who in the picture's a canon character, feel free. :D Not all of them are exactly the same gender as they were formerly, lol. There are at least 5 canon characters here, technically 6. :D

What I'm really proud of are these, as I managed to get a lot of details from the original Pretender shells into their design here. The reason so many of them are female is it's part of a running joke as well as the suggestion by some in the rp that the pretender technology was the 'mother' of the techno-organic age.

More of my artwork can be found at Deviantart. I'm always open to requests, though it tends to depend on how much they peak my interest. :)

Location: Forum at Hunter's Edge

Type: Mainly Post-Beast Machines with references to G1... some cross-continuity with  some player's metroid and megaman fanon stuff but largely in relation to the transformes history. Also has a version of Animated history built into the game as well.

Setting: behind a cut because I've got a long one here.

What can be said about the rpg that doesn't sound offbeat and weird... nothing really. Our little rpg is a Post-Beast Machines era based mix of whacky and serious storylines. Since the introduction of techno-organic material and the horror of the War of the Spark, Cybertron has slowly been returning to a potential new golden age. Even attempts at circumventing this shift to a most peaceful society have not prevented this so far...
In fact, some of these attempts have even given life back to old soldiers... several of the maximal's ancestors ressurected through a madman's tinkering with Vector Sigma. Though they did not find themselves as there were... be their alt mode, age, or even gender be changed by the experience, they tried to endeavor. Politicial parties soon formed, those of the Beast Autobots led by Jazz and Beast Decepticons led by Dirge.
Despite all of this, these attempts have been foiled.
However, there are secret factions in play, those who want to remove the organic 'filth' from the planet... the other Protoform experiments created by a corrupt illuminati of maximal elders who want their vengeance... amongst others. Even with this relative peace, old wars seem on the horizon.
At the heart of the rpg, it mixes in a number of things for a unique experience. Nannite drugs were developed by individuals in it that can result in physical changes... there are a number of homage teams in play in game that give themselves a little twist. One example is the Neo Techno-bots, a number of computer geeks investigating into the illuminati while wielding transforming 'transector' suits created from the remains of a certain set of interdimensional bots.
It plays loose yet rigid with continuity, a number of things have been brough in from different ones and made to play well. It can even be considered a crossover RPG with Metroid and Megaman to an extent at this point.... but rather then being a true crossover universe, these elements come from the transformers themselves.
For example, the Megaman elements are really just from the impact of the cybertronian's war on earth. The encounter with giant robots led humans to focusing on robotics themselves... leading to the creation of their own race of robots. I mean, we do have canon Megaman characters, of course... but their origins come from that.
The RPG even has a loose equivalent of Animated in it's history allowing for any characters from it's continuity to come in. In fact, this is part of the aspect that makes the megaman elements viable.
Metroid elements come in the space pirates race... plus none of the series really happened on earth so that plugs in just as well for backhistory. There are transformer elements mingling into everything, and there are some silly elements in terms of magic on earth... but the main focus is giant transforming robots.
It's really a fun place to play at and it has a variety of pre-existing characters avaiable...some of which I'm still working on bioing.

But the current completed bio list is here.
With completed bios being over here.

Any questions or what not, feel free to ask. :)
