I'm not about to let this community die! So, anyone here? Discussion on the Windblade/Til All Are One comics? Seeing Airrazor and Tigatron alive and as a couple made me so happy! Dinobot and Cheetor too of course, but we only saw them briefly. Tigatron and Airrazor seem to be ongoing due to them being delegates of the beast planet.

Super late, but I just found the place, SO--

Man, I have such mixed feelings about the Beast Era characters popping up in the IDW continuity. On the one hand, it's great to see everyone. I feel like they're really well-represented in the art styles they've been presented in so far-- Airazor's feathers flaring in response to Dinobot getting in her face in particular made me smile.

Then on the other hand-- I am so, ridiculously bitter that Rattrap, Rhinox and Waspinator are already present in the continuity in such a manner that they have no history with the other Beast characters. Part of me is similarly bitter about Tarantulas, but I actually really liked him in Sins, so it's not as strong. And of course there's very little chance of Primal and less chance of Megatron turning up on Eukaris.

So, yeah, overall I'm happy to see these characters getting more play in fiction, but I'd be happier if it was in such a way that the full Beast Wars cast was affiliated. And it'd be nice if Rattrap wasn't up to whatever it is exactly he's up to ( ... )

Rattrap may be from their colony originally. Though it doesn't seem like AirRazor or Tigatron recognize him. Theory I read was that Rattrap was working under one of the 13 Primes. Honestly, I forget their names, but the one with the beast mode, was it Onyx?

It was Onyx with the beast mode, yep.

Rattrap coming from Eukaris would feel forced at this point, imo. Aside from none of the colonists recognizing him, he doesn't seem familiar with the place. Plus the colonies are all supposed to have been lost/unknown and Rattrap has a service record on Cybertron. Not that there aren't canon-established ways to get around those issues, of course, but I don't feel like the idea has enough setup to be viable. Granted, again, I don't follow the titles Rattrap's in very closely, so I could be missing something. Do you have a link to the theory you mentioned? I'm interested in reading up on it.

He still wouldn't have a history with the other familiar Beast characters on Eukaris, though, so whatever appeal the idea has doesn't placate my particular disappointment. Still crossing my fingers for a reveal that he and Rhinox are (or at least were) buddies, tbh...
