He died a hero....

At around 10 pm on July 16th my sister and her boyfriend and her 4 dogs were hit by a car walking home from the park

I also saw this on our local news, and thought how sad and tragic. I had no idea that it would also be someone that was in my lj circle. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

God, he must have been barreling to throw them THAT far. That is INSANE. :(

My deepest condolences. Though the dogs may not have survived, at least your sister and her boyfriend (in my eyes, a hero) are going to make it.

Nothing can ever make it right, but I seriously hope that guy pays hard for what he's done. This wasn't his first offense, and it's beyond me why he wasn't locked up to begin with. :/

My heart goes out to all of you. I wish I could help. I can't imagine what you're all going through. I truly hope your sister and her boyfriend are going to be ok. I'm so, so sorry about your furred friends. I promise to do my best to never let friends (or anyone) drive drunk.
