binary scarf - washable wool - pattern from knitty.com, modified to only 6 numbers across instead of 8, and skipped the fringe - prezzie for Todd

This scarf took a really long time, maybe because it's a seven foot long fair-isled tube, but also because my technique has little finesse.

garter skirt - alpaca/silk - pattern from Naughty Needles - for myself

I bring this risque project up only because I learned a few things with this: how to knit eyelet, how to pick up stitches, but most importantly, how much knitting with skinny slippery yarn on size 3 needles sucks. I somehow made a few annoying mistakes. Not my best work, but fortunately there won't be much time spent closely scrutinizing the craftsmanship of the skirt if you know what I'm sayin.
