I think it was just unfortunate for sengoku that his team wasn't here. Your team has a certain loyalty to you, obviously. plus Rikkai knows I'll never forgive them if they don't help

And Yagyuu knows I'll find him, so he doesn't have to worry.

Well, he did have Akutsu... though has anyone actually seen him at all lately?

Akutsu disspeared after the first week he was here, so he really didn't have anyone. He's safe nonetheless, so it honestly doesn't matter.
