So, I ordered this adorable comforter cover on Ebay that was originally sold at Target -- it's made of "100% organic cotton." When I took it out of the package it had that bad, kind of fishy odor that new dyed fabrics sometimes have. I just threw it in the washer since that usually works fine to get the smell out. Who would have guessed it would take us 3 consecutive weekends to muster up the willpower to be out of bed and ready to go by 12:30 pm? Finally got out there today. Mmm, veggie omlette and home fries.

I just cancelled my student health insurance under the dubious possibility that Blue Cross Network New England has coverage in the California S.F. Bay area, thus saving $850. Coincidence?

I love watching the snow fall -- I've been hoping for snow all week. But with this storm my body aches in a way it hasn't ached since last winter. Maybe I stay in California after all?
