Before I go on my own search, can anyone recommend a good magazine to me?

I'm currently going through my old Spin magazines to sell at a used bookstore for whatever they'll pay me. My subscription ended in September, and in the last two years especially the writing in it has become terrible, and the featured bands are worse. Maybe my musical ( Read more... )

I used to love Nylon but it is a bit too heroin chic for me lately. I really like Venus Zine. I think it only comes out 4-6 times a year or so but it's got lots of cool music, film, and DIY articles. I think you'd like it.

Thank you for the recommendation. I looked at their site, and one of their past issues had Amy Sedaris on the cover! It looks like an excellent choice which I will be picking up!
