that is great to hear. though constructive criticism is always supposed to be helpful it's hard for pretty much everyone to really truly take it for what it is and not to harbor it, even if just secretly, as some sort of attack.

I think he's very likable, once you get over the fact that he will constantly tear your work apart. He really says the greatest things.

for sure! uchicago is crazy intense so during the week won't work, but maybe next weekend?? my cell is 3134071300 so give me a ring any day next weekend (including friday, my last class that day ends at 1) and we should meet up! woohooo

Ah this weekend is no good homework wise and the week after a friend from Phoenix is coming to see me
however! the week after that October 24/25th the Chicago film festival is playing Gael Garcia Bernal's new (to America anyway) film "Deficit" on the 24th, and Michel Gondry's new film "Tokyo!"on the 25th
downtown ish, I am pretty sure, I need to double check the addresses
who knows how good they'll, but I will see anything with Gael and anything Michel directs
if you would be interested in that, I am for sure going
and if not, otherwise my weekend is mostly free, other than a dreaded Saturday class
