Since I've been out of school (two weeks) I've heard a mockingbird outside mostly all night long starting at 11PM or midnight. The noise of my overhead fan often drowns him out when I turn it on. My relationship with my father has never been stable but has been much better in the last few years. I can appreciate that he supports me emotionally, financially, though sometimes he doesn't know why I think and act in the ways that I do. Sometimes I forget/ take for granted/ don't even realize how important art is to me. When I stop painting or drawing or anything I stop functioning mentally and physically. I'm thankful that 2008 is here because in August I will be moving to Chicago and I know it will be a year of many firsts. Some I'm ready for, some not at all.

I've never minded the dentist or orthodontist. I have very healthy teeth and gums and I always have. I don't mind any part of getting my teeth cleaned, I wasn't bothered by any part of having braces either. I went to a pediatric dentist for, as long as I can remember, until I was 19 ( Read more... )
